Electronic Monitoring

Electronic Monitoring provides extra security

An offender serving time for a violent offense and who is subsequently paroled is automatically placed under electronic monitoring, an intense, around-the-clock form of surveillance and control. Certain other offenders are also placed under electronic monitoring, and the Board may, at its discretion, require any parolee to serve portions of his parole under this restriction.
