The Board welcomes contact with persons about any case. By law information regarding a person (such as inmate's attorney) contacting the Board "on behalf of" an inmate becomes public record. Names of persons contacting the Board not "on behalf of" an inmate (such as a victim or victim's family member) are not public record and are kept confidential. (O.C.G.A. 42-9-18)
